i awoke this morning to a fresh fall of snow here in the mountains of wnc, and it's almost may.

while mario is no doubt accustomed to such events, as i was many years ago when i lived in nh, it is a shock to the system now.

good excuse to spend the day in the shop, as if i need one. am a bit behind on repair work, but the smell of fresh mahogany dust appeals today. have to rough out some necks and resaw some backs and sides. should keep me busy for the afternoon.

We've got a good ground cover here in Ohio. This is nuts but agreed it's a good day to spend in the shop [after church].

well, here in Ashtabula, Ohio, the snow isn't sticking.....yet. We're usually hit with HUGE amounts of the fluffy white stuff when it does come.

I know, I know! I live in Michigan, but even still, this late in April is just crazy! Especially after the last two weeks of beautiful weather!

Cold and sunny here in Ga. Ya'll can have all the snow, I'm ready for spring!

Any day is a good day to spend in the shop. As long as you leave with all your digits.

Ya know... It seems that a lot of us live in the Ohio/Michigan area judging by the resposes to the weather "bulletin".

Maybe we should all get together next year When OSU plays that "other" team from Michigan!

Here in Northern Ontario it's nice and sunny and warm (for Northern Ontario) The ice has even gone off most of the lakes and rivers. Glad I don't live down south in Ohio or Michigan or something like that.

Beautiful balmy 60 degrees in Kansas today. Just waiting for another tornado to pop up.

SO this is what its like to live in Michigan - Yesterday I get up and its about 29 degrees out and we have 2" of snow. I proceed to work, after work, I come home, eat dinner and go out and cut the lawn, trim and edge the driveway - and get a slight sunburn on my face. Yes I've lived here all my life, but I will never get use to the weather swings

Been snowing here off and on for three days but nothing surprising about that. I say don't rule out snow until the end of June
